Dear patients: The Ongoing Journey of a Boy from Jersey After more than 30 years in practice by myself, it has become time to switch gears. The time demands of solo practice after all these years has taken its toll. I love being a physician and I relish the relationships with my patients. But being on call is demanding, the paperwork never ending and free time is shrinking. After our doors close permanently, my wife and I will take sometime off. Then I plan to work part-time in various positions to see if I can find the right fit where I can work at a reduced level allowing more time with my family and to travel. If I can't find the right fit, then I will just retire. My family and I are fortunate to enjoy good health and I look forward to balance professional satisfaction with personal time to enjoy my family and learn about interesting people and places around the globe. At the Center for Bladder and Prostate Disorders, we know how important the doctor-patient relationship is. We specialize in minimally-invasive urologic surgery, urinary tract stones, voiding dysfunction, urinary incontinence, female urology, and female pelvic floor relaxation, as well as human sexuality. We offer complete diagnostic, treatment, and surgical service for all aspects of urology.

Our practice is pleased to announce a new laser procedure that is being offered for benign endoscopic prostatectomy. We also offer holmium laser prostatectomy. Dr. Frankel has written the following articles to explain the procedures.

Medications are prescribed only when necessary, and tests and studies are recommended when they will offer information that will affect your health.
